There are a few female characters on TV I really admire, including Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson of The Closer, Agent Sarah Walker of Chuck, Lindsay Monroe aka Montana on CSI New York, Dr. Temperance Brennan on Bones, Amita Ramanujan of Numb3rs. I consider myself fortunate, seeing as how when I was a kid, there weren’t this many smart, strong, independent women on TV. But I think my favorites have come down to NCIS‘ Ziva and Legend of the Seeker‘s Kahlan.
