Having the second kid’s sixth birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese was a no-brainer, especially since if one kid has it, the other kid has to, too! We also had a very good experience the last time, so we knew what we were getting into and hoped for an identical experience the second time around.

Well, that was the hope.

The thing is, Chris’ birthday is in August, when parents and kids are searching out for cool places to occupy themselves. So, even though we were first up again, there were more early birds seeking refuge from the heat.

This second time around, though, we took a little advantage of shelling out for a big party, and invited more of our friends. Hey — we’re paying the bills right?
