Apparently, the free food train hasn’t stopped. Has the economy gotten that bad that both KFC and El Pollo Loco are offering free food for a day?

Anyway, I missed out on KFC’s offer of free grilled chicken today, but anyone in need of a meal can head to El Pollo Loco tomorrow and get a free leg and thigh until 8 p.m. Of course, if you want a drink or sides, or want to buy it through the drive-thru, you gotta pay up. Oh, and you have to specifically ask for it, they’re not just going to offer you free food! What do you think this is, Costco?

(I love Costco’s food handouts, btw. I bought a box of salmon after tasting some yesterday from the handout ladies. And I don’t generally even like salmon.)
