In memory of my mom

My mom went to be with God last night. If she knew about WordPress she would approve of the simple, white photoblog layout I’ve chosen for the time being.

My mom had stomach cancer for the past year. And I thank God she’s been delivered of her pain and suffering.

Bob and I share in your grief, but also in our hope in Jesus Christ. May He tenderly hold and comfort you during your time of loss. We love you!

    Darleene,

I cannot begin to tell you how truly sorry I am for your loss. I pray the Lord will give you a peace that surpasses all understanding. May He comfort you during this time and always. I’m here if you need anything.

But those who wait on the LORD
    Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

    Lots of love,

    Jenn

    Dear Darleene,
You are so strong and I know your mom would be proud of the tribute page you put together for her. I cant know how you are feeling at this moment, but I do know a little about what you are going through. I hope you take a little comfort in knowing how much we all care about you through the good and the bad. So when you need us, work spouse included, let us know.

I am so heart broken hearing the news. She was like a mom to me and the only thing that i could do was think of all the old times she used to tease me. I saw her every saturday at church and I always let her know that I still think of her as my aunt. I love her very much and will miss her dearly.

    Darleene,

I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through, though you have my greatest sympathy. I have been saying prayers (excatholic at that!) to help you and your family in this time. I loved hearing your stories about your mom, and I love hearing your stories in general. I will miss you so much after I leave CBS and want you to know I will always be there for you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you now or later.

    Love,
    Lizz

It broke my heart when I heard the news. Your Mom was a special person to our family… May God embrace you and your family during this difficult time. You are in my prayers.

When we heard about the passing of your mom, we were overwhelmed with sorrow and disbelief. We have such fond memories of her and all of the “good ol’ times” we spent as a family. So sorry we haven’t been in touch with you all. We miss you guys!! On behalf of my family, my mom, my dad and my brothers’ families, we extend our sincere and deepest sympathies to you all. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to help!

    Love you guys!

“When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son. ‘I am about to go the way of all the earth,” he said. “So be strong, show yourself a man, 3 and observe what the LORD your God requires: Walk in his ways, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and requirements, as written in the Law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go'”
