The week’s worth of rainstorms led to some pretty spectacular photos. The rainbow through the windmills in Palm Springs photo below was on the front page of the Ventura County Star Tuesday. There’s just something about delicate, esoteric beauty of that rainbow that almost softens the harshness of the windmills.
More awesome photos after the jump.
Seeing downtown Los Angeles with a snowy backdrop is always awesome.
When I decided to do a post entirely of photos taken by other photographers, I of course turned to Flickr. What I didn’t know was that I would find the below photo, which looks surreal. Vgm8383 says the photo was taken at Lake Castaic in the Santa Clarita Valley. The colors of this photo stunned me.
Then of course, there’s all the effects the storm had on us urbanites. Dave Malkoff is always good for grabbing cool shots from the behind the scenes of his liveshots.
