When I saw first saw the commercial for Tin Man, I immediately called Trin to make sure he would set our Tivo to record it. Why? Because Sci Fi’s mini series events tend to be really good — unlike their movies which tend to be totally cheesy, and unlike their TV shows, which tend to be hit or miss. Eureka and the Dresden Files are great, but Flash Gordon? Trinity couldn’t even get into it, as much as he wanted to.

Case in point? The Lost Room. If you didn’t see it, find a way to do so. The Lost Room was a three-week thing, just like The Tin Man is going to be. And dude, I was so disappointed when it was over. It was seriously good. I literally contemplated (for a moment) on how I could email the network and ask for them to make it a regular series.

Anyway. I dunno about you, but I’m catching the Tin Man tonight. See you on the yellow-brick road.
