As talented as I am (ahem, heehee), you had to know my husband was even more so. He finally made it into Newspagedesigner.com‘s rotating flash animation of front pages for his second-day front page of the Virginia Tech shootings. I actually got a preview of the cover, as Trinity took the page home to show it to me and get my opinion.

I knew the page was a good one as soon as I saw it – the photos were high impact, there was a detailed, yet simple, timeline, plus a teaser he had to put together of some of the people who died along the top was really kind of heartbreaking in how the killer didn’t discriminate with his gun.
