Phoning in to new media

I’ve finally entered the world of new media, phone-first.

Yes. For the longest time, I had my Sprint, green-screen phone, and its only animation was the little panda that walked toward you. Yes. Its very old. I think Trinity bought it for me some three years ago.

To be quite honest, I used to be a new gadget junkie, but not so much anymore. I mean, I’ve had this laptop since 2002. Back in the day, I had the first mp3 player (a real tiny, low-capacity thing that barely held 12 songs) out of my entire circle of friends and I was the first one to start this newfangled practice of putting personal stuff online on a website that I built on my own.

Well, finally I am replacing my green-screen phone with a sleek blue Razr. It’s going to take some time for me to get used to the new phone book and the new buttons, but I think I can handle it. But having the camera in my phone is going to be AWESOME.

Friends and surroundings, watch out! I’ve got a camera phone! But now I have to buy a Bluetooth adapter for my iBook…..
