Meet Poochino. He’s the friendly neighborhood dog in my building. However, I only learned his name when his owners put up this poster of him about two weeks ago. I’ve seen the poster up, with contact phone numbers, in our lobby and wistfully thought, man….if only our place were bigger….and only if Kip weren’t so crazy… But my loss can be your gain! Check it out:
My name is Poochino and I have lived with my family for about eight years. They love me a lot but about a year-and-a-half ago, they brought home a human baby (I was not consulted on this matter). Unfortunately, while I love all people (and kids over 10), I really need to be the only baby in the family.
My family is very sad to give me up because I’m really a wonderful dog – cuddly, affectionate, playful and loyal. I’m a unique mix of terrier and Bernese mountain dog, about 65 pounds, neutered (again, not consulted), all shots up to date. I even like cats once I get to know them. If you adopt me, my family is even offering to look after me when you’re busy or out of town.
I need a safe, loving and permanent home. If you’re interested, please call Mark or Kelly soon.
Awwwww! I mean, just look at that face! I have to confess that I’ve been a little infatuated with Poochino since I moved here, since he seems so chill and looks so happy and I never hear him bark (Poochino lives in a condo sort of diagonal to mine, and since Kip is always perched on our balcony rail, never hearing Poochino bark is quite remarkable), much like my favorite dog Barley at the Glendale Humane Society. In fact, they could probably be brothers. Anyway, I wanted to put this out there for all you fine web folks – I’m sure that among all the intelligent, well-educated and animal-loving blog junkies who frequent my site (heheh, in my head), that someone will be as infatuated with Poochino as I am.
However, I’m not including Mark and Kelly’s number here, since they don’t even know that I’m doing this. I just decided to
steal borrow the flyer real quick for a quick scan and blog post after seeing there was no takers after two weeks. So if you think Poochino is adorable and you want to snap him up, leave me a comment and I’ll just have to tell them about my hijinks.
