I am definitely not one of those women who dreads their birthdays. Actually, I don’t think any of the women in my family really care about getting older so much. Maybe that has to do with the fact that my mom and my older sister don’t look their ages. And to that effect, I still feel like I got straight out of college (even though I’m about five years removed) but whatever – youth is in your mind, is what I say.
Anyway, I’m hoping to get whoever is in town on Memorial Day weekend together to go bowling. Yay! Bowling! I’m sort of a ringer, but not an intentional one. I just sometimes score well. Anyway, if you have been following my blog for a long time (ahem *cough*Karl*cough*) let me know if you want to go and I’ll include you in the Evite, when I finally figure out where I want to have it.
And if you really love me, you can send me a gift! Oy – was that too obvious? Anyway, I didn’t really put together an Amazon wish list to get gifts, per se – well, okay, at first I did, but I do realize that my chances of getting a gift off a random wish list is slim to none, but the wish list has become kind of useful to me. I was inspired by the news reports last week of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes‘ alleged baby registry (here’s the link to a wedding one; again, who knows if its for real) to create the wish list. Since then, I have found it to be a great way to remember what exactly I want to buy, since yesterday, I could hardly remember Joss Stone’s name.
Well, if you don’t buy me a lil somethin’ somethin’, I really don’t care. I love you anyway!
